Questions
Why JPG rather than the other one?
JPG files are much smaller, which is what you want for pages that are mostly photographic. For pages of text or line drawings, PNG keeps the edges cleaner.
What resolution do I get?
150 DPI, which is where text stops looking soft on screen and is still fine to print. A typical A4 page comes out around 1240 × 1754 pixels.
Can I convert just one page?
Every page is converted and listed separately, so you can download only the one you want.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is opened and rendered inside your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
Is this the same as "convert pdf to jpg"?
Yes. It also gets called "pdf to image" and "pdf to jpeg". They all describe this one job, and this page does it.
