Questions
Why 1080×1080 pixels?
It is a fixed requirement on a number of application portals, which reject anything that is not exactly that size. This tool produces those dimensions exactly rather than approximately.
What if my image is a different shape?
You can either fit it inside the box and pad the spare space with white, which keeps the whole mark visible, or fill the box and crop the overflow. White padding is the safer default for a signature, where a cropped descender changes how it looks.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens inside your browser using the canvas built into it. Nothing is sent to a server, nothing is stored, and the page keeps working if you disconnect from the internet after it loads.
Is this the same as "resize image for instagram post"?
Yes. It also gets called "instagram post size" and "instagram post dimensions". They all describe this one job, and this page does it.
